**What's the opportunity?**
We're seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team. You'll analyze, build, and deploy machine learning models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar platforms to extract insights from data. As a senior team member, you'll lead projects, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders for successful project delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand business problems, analyze numerical datasets, and design relevant solutions that may involve machine learning models.
- Design and develop scalable data processing, mining, and machine learning systems.
- Debug end-to-end data flow and enhance model predictions.
- Build and deploy scalable machine learning pipelines on GCP or equivalent platforms.
- Establish practices for model monitoring, retraining, and versioning.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Able to build visualizations involving reports and other insights on large-scale tabular data and present the technical findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Assist product manager in shaping data science products and offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of overall experience with at least 2 years in Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering.
- Strong numerical crunching and data preprocessing skills.
- Proficiency in end-to-end data processing steps, including data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, outlier handling, and model training.
- Experience in classic supervised ML model training
- Experience in training and deploying supervised machine learning models in production environments.
- Understanding natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other deep learning techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries like XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud or equivalent Cloud Platforms.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

**Good To Have**:

- Google Cloud Certified Professional Machine Learning or TensorFlow Certified Developer certifications.
- Experience in MLOps and related technologies.
- Master’s degree in statistics, machine learning, or related fields
