**Responsibilities**:

- Drafting and Design of general arrangement/ layouts and generation of drawings from general written or verbal specifications - Production of watermains, piping layouts, profile drawings as per standards
- Produce drawings using Civil3D, Microstation and AutoCAD following municipal, departmental and discipline standards;
- Using Civil 3D/Microstation/AutoCAD to produce: Site servicing, grading and drainage plans, Plan, profiles and cross sections, prepare as-built drawings and produce drawings following municipal design standards for roadways, sewer, watermain and development projects.
- Work with engineering team to investigate and resolve problems with existing and proposed designs. Provide alternative design concepts to meet client requirements
- Maintain, record and follow a standard traceable filing system of drawings and associated documents for future reference
- Preparation of quantities, contract drawings and documents for tender and construction
- Provide support during construction and field inspection as required.
- Responsible for Preparation of drawings including conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings, using Autodesk Civil 3D software’s under guidance
- Production of drawings to ensure compliance with Client drafting standards and Quality requirements
- Responsible for completing tasks as directed by the CAD Coordinator / Senior CAD Technician
- Responsible for adhering to training and learning requirements and stay abreast in Drafting skills
- Responsible / eager to work in different standards, requirements and prepare engineering drawings to specified standards

Key Competencies / Skills
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation, designing and drafting in the field of water and wastewater industry
- Workable Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD, Proficiency in MicroStation is added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- First-rate design and drafting skills with good knowledge of drawing setup and production
- Previous experience with Middle east/Canada / US/ UK standards is added advantage
- Familiar with topographic/survey/GIS data/files/information
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary team /remotely based team environment;
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis
- Agile, ability to learn, develop required skillset and contribute to quality drawing production
- Highly motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic team player & good communication skills
