**Job Title**: ITGC Audit Consultant
**Location**: Chennai (On-site)

**Job Type**: Contract (4 months, with potential extension)
**Client**: Leading IT/ITES Company
**Experience Required**: 5+ years in IT SOX compliance (ITGC & ITAC)
**Big 4/5 Experience**: Preferred
**Start Date**: Immediate

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **IT SOX Compliance**: Perform thorough testing of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) with a focus on SOX compliance.
- **Audit Engagements**: Lead ITGC audit engagements from planning through execution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- **Access Controls**: Evaluate and test user access management, authorization processes, and security measures.
- **Change Management**: Review and assess IT change management protocols and processes.
- **Backup & Recovery Controls**: Assess the adequacy of backup and disaster recovery processes.
- **IT Operations**: Review IT operational processes to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.
- **Risk Management**: Identify risks within the IT environment and recommend mitigating strategies.
- **Client Collaboration**: Work closely with client IT and audit teams to resolve issues in real-time.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Prepare audit work papers, deliver detailed audit reports, and present findings to senior management.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in IT audit or IT SOX compliance, ideally within a Big 4/5 consulting firm.
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) with a focus on SOX.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified CA
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)

**Skills & Competencies**:

- **Audit Expertise**: Deep knowledge of IT audit procedures, SOX compliance, and control testing.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to detect control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations.
- **Communication**: Strong written and verbal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- **Attention to Detail**: High accuracy in documentation, analysis, and reporting.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

**Contract Duration**: 4 months (with a possibility of extension based on project needs)
