As a Service Technician/Engineer at Shivtech, you will be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for hands-on calibration of temperature and pressure gauges, electrical meters, flowmeters, gas detectors, fire/heat/smoke detectors, and gas detection instruments. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our clients receive top-quality service and calibration. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: **Hands-On Approach**:Please note that this role is not a traditional "sit down with your laptop" job. The Service Technician/Engineer position at Shivtech is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to working with equipment and systems. It's ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic and physical work environment. **Key Responsibilities**: **Calibration**: Perform precise calibration of temperature and pressure gauges, gas detectors, and gas detection instruments to maintain accuracy and reliability. **Equipment Expertise**: Utilize your expertise with pressure/temp calibrators, instrumentation equipment, and automation/control systems to deliver high-quality service. **Technical Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring mínimal downtime for our clients. **Client Interaction**: Maintain a professional and positive rapport with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. **Qualifications**: - ITI graduate, Marine Engineer, or Service Engineer with prior experience in automation/control systems or instrumentation equipment. - Proficiency in calibrating temperature and pressure gauges, gas detectors, and gas detection instruments. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. **Additional Note for Service Technician/Engineer Role**: **Advanced Automation/Control Systems**:In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the Service Technician/Engineer at Shivtech will also have the opportunity to work on advanced automation and control systems designed and manufactured by Shivtech.
