- Administer IBM DataPower appliances and ensure optimal performance.
- Configure and deploy various services like Web Services Proxy (WSP), Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), and XML Firewall.
- Perform regular backups, monitoring, and firmware upgrades.
- Provide second-line support for resolving incidents and issues related to DataPower devices.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to traffic management, security, and data transformation.
- Assist with the identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage security protocols such as SSL, TLS, and VPN on DataPower devices.
- Manage certificates and cryptographic configurations to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitor system performance using DataPower logs, metrics, and tools.
- Implement recommendations for improving system performance and reliability.
- Generate periodic reports on system health, traffic patterns, and security compliance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on DataPower configurations and procedures.
- Share best practices and provide training to other team members or clients as needed.
- Experience:

- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataPower administration.
- Solid experience in configuring and managing DataPower services, including Web Services Proxy (WSP), Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), and XML Firewall.
- Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and XPath.
- Proficiency with web services protocols such as SOAP, REST, and JSON.
- Familiarity with security protocols like SSL/TLS, VPNs, and certificate management.
- Experience with IBM DataPower monitoring tools and log analysis.
- Tools & Platforms:

- Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower (all versions).
- Proficiency in tools such as XML Gateway, XML Firewall, WebSphere MQ, and others.
- Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to document and present technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Shift Timing:

- 24*5 support and weekend on-call (Rotation)
