To be part of the Appdynamics (Application performance monitoring tool) team of the CMB Technology - Service Sustainability, Delivery & Quality Transformation portfolio.

The AppDynamics team’s major role is to
- To build a self sustainable model to effectively utilize AppDynamics.
- To support building Center of excellance for AppDynamics
- To build the bridge between HSBC CMB and AppDynamics Product Vendor.
- Encourage development teams to utilize the true potential of AppDynamics
- Actively participate in PoCs

The job holder based out of India will contribute to the technical mission of the team.

Experience & Qualification:
1. Mandatory: Background in Application Support, Application Development, System Administration and/or Application Performance Monitoring Tools.

2. Experience within the IT Industry, preferably within Investment Banking

3. Application Support or Development Experience

4. Experience in working with both onshore and offshore staff, within a globally diverse team

5. Preferred: Educated to degree level

6. Can work with internal and external Service Providers

Knowledge & Skills:

- Very Good working knowledge of AppDynamics
- Strong knowledge of other monitoring tools, performance management or analytics tools will be a distinct advantage
- Strong Java knowledge (J2EE, Java Memory, JVM parameters).
- Strong UNIX or Linux skills.
- Scripting skills of Perl, Shell Scripts and SQL queries
- Strong Database and SQL skills (Oracle or Sybase)
- Expertize in dashboarding
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with people at all levels and influence the progress of tasks
- Experience in delivering presentations and training courses
- Experience in writing technical documentation
