**HVAC Technician Duties And Responsibilities**

HVAC Technicians have several responsibilities. Depending on the specifics of a job, their primary duty is to either maintain systems or install new units. In fact, most HVAC Technicians spend much of their time alternating between these two roles. Other common responsibilities for HVAC Technicians include:

- Removing old systems
- Installing new systems
- Performing routine maintenance
- Training junior team members
- Communicating with clients and customers
- Ordering and maintaining equipment
- Meeting local HVAC codes
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.

**HVAC Technician Requirements**:

- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Experience : 3-5 years in hand experience in operation and maintenance of Chiller, pumps, AHUs, Cooling towers etc
- Qualification: ITI
- Location: Trivandrum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
