Kala Cassette is looking for an enthusiastic team member. We are in need of a creative, organised, and collaborative individual to handle our social media. We are a new podcast, learning the ropes as we expand and beginners are welcomed to join our team. If you are a person who is adept at maintaining a strong social media presence and can curate our account to increase engagement and reach we will welcome you as a core member of the Kala Cassette podcast

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES —**

The roles and responsibilities that your job as a social media manager would entail:

- Editing and uploading short format content (reels and YouTube shorts).
- Planning and scheduling weekly for uploading content.
- Understanding social media algorithms to help increase reach.
- Posting consistently and daily to increase engagement and reach out to like minded platforms.
- Helping with the basic functioning of kala cassette.
- Curating content to increase engagement

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS —**
- Experience ~ 0-1 years of professionally handling social media.
- Skills such as editing, coordination with the team, knowledge of the social media algorithm, curation of content to fit the requirements of the podcast and the audience, good communication skills, organisational and time management skills, basic understanding of Canva and any video editing platform

**WHAT IS KALA CASSETTE?**

Kala Cassette brings to light a wide set of thought provoking conversations and a myriad of collaborations with underground artists to help us widen the horizon of our themes. We will have two segments, Side A where various creators come and speak to us about their respective artforms. Side B where we set foot into discourse about various abstract and cultural phenomena.

Please note that this is a **voluntary/unpaid role**, as we are still students developing this initiative independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
