**R&D Product Cyber Security Advisor/Expert**:

You will be working as R&D Product Cyber Security Advisor/Expert and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D/Technology Manager and will be responsible for supporting strategic cyber security direction and future technologies, designs, architecture and implementations in alignment with group or BA or division-level strategy. Initiating and driving cyber security implementations using in-depth cyber security expertise in standards and risk-based approach. Managing or coordinating development projects or activities from a cyber security perspective of substantial impact to the business. Acting as the first line contact in R&D or software development or product engineering for in-depth product or cyber security related matters.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Evaluating security problems as they arise and developing the best ways to resolve them. Experience in handling software and hardware cyber security and hardening concepts
- Driving awareness in the team on cyber security risks, requirements and compliance, tracking and reporting compliance to ABB cyber security standards in development
- Providing support to pre-sales and marketing teams to propagate cyber security practices being applied, discussing various cyber security standards and practices with customers, specifically with respect to manufacturing environment along with IT environment
- Participating in design discussions, documentation and reviews with ABB team as needed along with capability of becoming proficient at developing a workflow process, troubleshooting the software cyber security vulnerabilities and staying current with upgrades, updates and technologies
- Collaborating with R&D product development and management teams across globe to ensure adherence to cyber security guidelines

**Your background**:

- Batchelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics or similar from a reputed institution
- Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in defining, designing and guiding implementation of cyber security best practices and standards for industrial analytics and AI platform
- Having 3+ years of experience in cyber security for industrial automation, cloud hosted products along with edge solutions or IoT devices
- Required in-depth technical understanding of the relevant products, technology stacks and challenges that especially bridge IT and OT networks. Having in-depth understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security
- Having experience with cyber security threat modeling and assessment using various tools such as threat modeler and microsoft threat modeling tool etc
- Experience with various security tools burp Suite, API security testing tools, docker Image scanning solutions, vulnerability analysis, security risk management, security risk identification and mitigation, industrial automation domain exposure is added advantage
