As a Cloud architect, you will have to play a strategic role in defining, designing and delivering Cloud architecture by working collaboratively with our Client stakeholders. You will work as a trusted partner to our Clients and be responsible for pushing the organization forward while helping them solve difficult technology problems. You will foster an environment that empowers teams and facilitates the development of your team members, setting everyone up to deliver their best work.

As a Cloud architect here's what you will be indulging in Thoughtworks:

- Own and drive evolution of our cloud strategy framework
- Advise on cloud practices and architectural approaches for large and complex enterprise modernization projects
- Define technical direction and roadmap for Cloud migrations and manage the implementation and technical solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client executives by representing and explaining the value proposition and high-level implementation approach of our cloud strategy framework
- Architect cloud-native solutions for the public private cloud, hybrid, or multi-cloud environment to meet the client's needs.
- Anchor the workshops end to end on cloud-related technical topics with the client.
- Build relationships with the business stakeholders and delivery teams to shape solutions that deliver business outcomes.
- Collaboration with large enterprise teams to ensure integrated and secure end to end design
- Experience in setting up cloud governance
- Exposure to serverless architecture patterns
- Advise the clients on cloud adoption framework and cloud economics
- Mentor and groom Cloud SMEs

**Requirements**:

- Extensive project experience migrating from legacy systems and deploying complex cloud-based solutions
- Should have proficiency in one of the leading cloud providers i.e. AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Has hands-on experience of Kubernetes deployments, and Docker.
- Experience of playing a strategic role in architecting all cloud systems including front end platforms, servers, storage and network management.
- Should have experience of defining Client's tech. strategy, collaborate with partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, Hybrid cloud), working with various levels of stakeholders from Business.
- Should have experience of working closely with IT security to design cloud security architecture
- Has experience in setting up CI/CD process/ pipelines
- Design and implement multi tier architecture solution that is highly available, fault tolerant using Cloud platform services
- Proficient in Infrastructure as code with at least one of: Terraform, ARM template or Cloud formation.
- Experience with Microservices, Functions, Event-driven/reactive programming or other Cloud Native architectures
- Scripting experience in one or more of the following: Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell.
- Experience in reviewing and implementing DevOps and Agile standards and practices.
- Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical topics to senior internal/external stakeholders.
- Experience in pre-sales, responding to RFP's and preparing proactive proposals.
- Ability to work with multiple-stakeholders and tech partners.
