The Ambulance Paramedic is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for providing advanced emergency medical care and life support to patients in pre-hospital settings. This role requires quick decision-making skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to operate medical equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort during transport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Assessment and Care**:

- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to determine the nature and extent of their medical emergencies.
- Administer advanced life support (ALS) procedures, including airway management, intravenous (IV) therapy, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring.
- Provide emergency care for various conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other critical illnesses.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing medical care in high-stress environments and ensuring timely transport to medical facilities.
- Collaborate effectively with other emergency personnel, including EMTs, ambulance drivers, and hospital staff.
- **Medical Equipment Operation**:

- Operate and maintain medical equipment and devices, including defibrillators, cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps.
- Ensure that all necessary medical supplies and medications are stocked and readily available in the ambulance.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Accurately document patient care, assessments, interventions, and transport details in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Complete incident reports and maintain records for quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- **Patient Advocacy and Education**:

- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as appropriate.
- **Continuous Learning and Training**:

- Stay current with advances in emergency medical care, protocols, and technology through ongoing education and training.
- Participate in regular drills, training sessions, and quality assurance reviews to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- EMT diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in paramedic science or related field preferred.
- **Licensing and Certification**:

- Current certification as a Paramedic from a recognized accrediting body (e.g., National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - NREMT).
- State licensure as a Paramedic; additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
- **Experience**:

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
