Position Overview:
A Welder is a skilled professional responsible for fabricating and joining metal components through various welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in working with different types of metals and welding equipment. The Welder must interpret blueprints, follow welding procedures, and ensure the quality and structural integrity of the finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
Welding Operations:
Perform various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding, based on the project's requirements.

Operate welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, and plasma cutters, following safety protocols.

Clean, prepare, and set up workpieces before welding, including grinding, cutting, and fitting components.

Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

Understand welding symbols, dimensions, and tolerances outlined in the blueprints.

Material Selection:
Select appropriate materials, such as metals, alloys, and filler rods, based on project specifications and requirements.

Ensure proper material preparation and compatibility for welding processes.

Quality Control:
Inspect welds visually and using non-destructive testing methods to ensure they meet quality standards and structural integrity.

Identify and rectify any welding defects, such as porosity, cracks, and inconsistencies.

Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations while working with welding equipment and handling materials.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent hazards and accidents.

Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions or defects to minimize downtime.

Collaboration:
Coordinate with other team members, such as fabricators, engineers, and supervisors, to plan and execute welding projects effectively.

Communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

Documentation:
Keep accurate records of work performed, including welding parameters, materials used, and any quality control tests conducted.

Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.

Certified Welder qualification is a plus.

Proven experience in various welding techniques, with the ability to provide a portfolio of past projects.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong understanding of different types of metals, alloys, and their compatibility for welding.

Knowledge of welding safety procedures and guidelines.

Familiarity with welding equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.

Flexibility to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
