Machine Operator/labourer

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Machine Operation**: Machine operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring the machines used in the production of rebar couplers. This includes CNC machines, threading machines, and other specialized equipment.

**2.** **Quality Control**: They must ensure that the couplers are produced to the required specifications and quality standards. This involves inspecting the couplers for defects, measuring dimensions, and making necessary adjustments to the machines.

**3.** **Maintenance**: Machine operators are often responsible for basic machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs to ensure the equipment functions properly.

**4.** **Material Handling: They may need to load raw materials, such as steel bars, into the machines and remove finished couplers from the machines.**

**5.** **Safety: Ensuring a safe working environment by following safety protocols and guidelines is of utmost importance. Machine operators must be aware of potential hazards and take appropriate precautions.**

**6.** **Record Keeping: Keeping records of production output, quality checks, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process is typically part of the job.**

**Qualifications**:
