- **Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)**: Providing legal support during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
- **Data Privacy**: Ensuring the company complies with data privacy regulations and protects sensitive information.
- **Intellectual Property (IP) Protection**: Managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- **Workplace Investigations**: Conducting internal investigations into potential legal or ethical violations by employees.

**Skills and Qualities**:

- **Strong Legal Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of business law and the specific legal areas relevant to the company's industry.
- **Commercial Acumen**: Understanding the business and its goals to provide practical and commercially sound legal advice.
- **Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills**: Clearly explaining complex legal matters to non-lawyers and effectively negotiating favorable terms for the company.
