Their overarching mission revolves around transforming the financial landscape for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through their cutting-edge fintech solutions, including innovative Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options and seamless checkout products.

**Responsibilities of the In-House Legal Counsel**:

- Give accurate legal direction to the office staff on all matters that influence the organization.
- Deal with the compliance, risk management for in-house counsel and other legal administrators groups.
- Maintain and drive transparency and efficiencies in the contract life cycle management process.
- Work across teams to help structure contracts in a way that works for the company as well as our partners.
- Lead and grow to facilitate decision making ensuring risk protection for the company.
- Calculate and handle risks in business process and decision making.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements etc.
- Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the
- Enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function.

**Qualifications for In-House Legal Counsel**:

- Qualified lawyer registered with the Bar Council of India with 5-8 years of experience..
- Prior in-house legal experience working in a fast-paced organization.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.
- Must be enthusiastic and enjoy the hustle of a start-up.
- Sound judgment, strong communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills.
