Lab Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lab Assistant for our Industry Automation/Welding/CNC/Electrical &Electronics l abs. The primary responsibility of the Lab Assistant will be to support training & lab maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lab Setup and Maintenance:

- Prepare and organize the lab environment for training sessions, ensuring equipment is ready for use.
- Maintain and inspect systems, kits, and sensors, to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Manage inventory of lab equipment, components, and consumables, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment or repairs.

2. Training Support:

- Assist trainers in conducting demonstrations and practical training sessions involving automation equipment.
- Set up training modules and experiments related projects.
- Provide technical guidance to students during hands-on training, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

3. Technical Assistance:

- Support trainers in developing technical materials, training manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in programming and configuring systems for training purposes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with automation equipment; escalate major issues to technical support if necessary.

4. Data Management:

- Maintain accurate records of lab usage, equipment checklists, and maintenance activities.
- Track student attendance, performance, and feedback during lab sessions.
- Assist in collecting data on training effectiveness and contribute to reports for project evaluation.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce safety guidelines and protocols for using automation equipment in the lab.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
- Promptly report any safety incidents or equipment malfunctions to the Lab Manager.

6. Student Engagement:

- Encourage active participation and curiosity among students during lab activities.
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance their understanding of automation concepts.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background:
**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Labs or academics.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in using and maintaining lab tools & equipment's.
- Familiarity with programming languages.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software and industrial networks (like MODBUS, PROFIBUS) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, problem-solving mindset.

Pay: ₹8,356.67 - ₹30,809.07 per month
