**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Curriculum Development and Instruction**:
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with proficiency-based language standards, incorporating speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Integrate authentic materials, cultural activities, and technology to enhance student engagement and understanding of Spanish language and culture.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests.
- **Language Proficiency and Communication**:
- Facilitate interactive language learning experiences that encourage students to communicate confidently and effectively in Spanish.
- Provide opportunities for authentic language use through conversations, debates, role-plays, and real-life scenarios.
- Scaffold instruction to support students at varying proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
- **Cultural Awareness and Appreciation**:
- Explore and celebrate the rich diversity of Spanish-speaking cultures around the world through literature, music, art, and traditions.
- Foster cross-cultural understanding and empathy by examining cultural perspectives, values, and customs within the Spanish-speaking community.
- Encourage students to engage critically with cultural texts and artifacts, promoting respect and appreciation for diverse identities and experiences.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:
- Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools, such as oral presentations, written assignments, projects, and performance tasks.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, guiding them in setting goals and reflecting on their language learning journey.
- Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions, differentiate instruction, and support individual student needs.
- **Parent Communication and Collaboration**:
- Maintain open and proactive communication with parents, providing updates on student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with parents as partners in their child's language learning journey, soliciting feedback, addressing concerns, and fostering a supportive home-school connection.
- Organize cultural events, language immersion experiences, or parent workshops to involve families in the Spanish language learning community.
- **Professional Development and Growth**:
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance language proficiency, teaching skills, and cultural competence.
- Participate in language teaching conferences, workshops, and online courses to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in language education.
- Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback from peers and supervisors, and pursue opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Teaching certification or licensure appropriate for Spanish language instruction.
- Proficiency in Spanish at the advanced level or above, with native or near-native fluency preferred.
- Previous experience teaching Spanish language and culture to students of varying ages and proficiency levels (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural competence.
- Passion for language teaching, cultural exchange, and global education.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
