**Position Description, Scope of the role**:
**Main Responsibility and Activities**:

- Implementing various elements of a content marketing strategy as instructed by Marketing

Team
- Optimizing current copy on the company website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)
- Writing new SEO-friendly copy for pages on the company website
- Create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers.
- Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to the site.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Actively manage and promote blogs, and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms.
- Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress
- Update website content as needed
- Analyse content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed.
- Understand business objectives to develop creatives that meet management goals
- Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz and Google)
- Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers needs
- Proofread and edit written pieces before publication
- Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication

Researching, conceptualizing, and writing unique, creative content for the company’s intranet, web and social media network and working along with the Sales & Marketing team to develop writeups.
- Writing content for the company s internal intranet newsletters, webinars, etc.
- Researching relevant topics based on the company's business services and creating original high-quality, user-friendly content independently from scratch.
- Drafting content strategies & planning, development, and management of content.

**Education Qualification & Skills Required**:

- Bachelors/Masters in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Content Developer / Copy writer
- Working knowledge of content optimization for SEO (keyword density, H1 tags, H2 tags) is preferred but not required
- Great English writing skills
- Proficiency in the English Language for communication with the team.
- Familiarity with CRM (customer relations management) and marketing tools, such as

Salesforce, HubSpot is preferred but not required
- Power-user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Clear passion for marketing and a hunger to learn new things.
- Creativity, accountability, positive energy, organization, and passion for marketing automation
- Strong communication/presentation skills and demonstrated ability to work cross
- functionally (across operating functions and geographic locations) and with senior management.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of SEO & Internet marketing will be added advantage.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced work environment that can juggle multiple deadlines.

**Salary**: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
