- Maintain precise timing of events using a stopwatch or software timer.
- Identify players involved in each play and record their jersey numbers, names, and positions.
- Note significant game-changing moments, controversial calls, and noteworthy player performances.
- Adapt logging approach based on different sports and specific broadcast or production needs.
- Ensure clarity and conciseness in recorded information while adhering to established style guides and terminology.
- Communicate effectively with production teams and other loggers to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a high level of concentration and focus throughout the event, even under pressure.
- Proofread and verify logged information for accuracy and completeness before final submission.
- May perform additional tasks as needed, such as managing equipment, preparing reports, or assisting with post-production activities.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent knowledge of the specific sport you are logging, including its rules, terminology, and player positions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus intently for extended periods.
- Typing speed and accuracy, ideally exceeding 60 words per minute.
- Multitasking ability and capacity to manage multiple information streams simultaneously.
