**(J.R.F/Project Fellow Position in Accelerator Based Experimental Nuclear Physics)**

Applications are invited for the position of a JRF in Experimental Nuclear Physics to work in a

IUAC, New Delhi research project entitled **_“Nuclear structure studies in some neutron deficient _**

**_nuclei in A~100 mass region nuclei”_**. The experiments will be performed primarily at the IUAC,

New Delhi accelerator facility. The selected fellow will also get opportunities to participate in

various other experiments of the group. The fellow is expected to work both at Panjab

University and various national accelerator laboratories. Further information about the position

**JRF- NET/GATE Qualification** : If he/she has cleared NET/GATE the Fellowship will be higher. NET
/GATE qualified persons will be paid fellowship of Rs.25000/ per
month for two years and then after for the third and final year
will be Rs.28000/- per month. The person to be considered for
the appointment as Junior Research Fellow **(Duration 03 Years)**
must have NET / valid GATE score in physics, Master degree with
a minimum of 55% marks for general category (50% in case of
SC/ST/PH) in physics. The age of JRF should be below 40 years at
the time of appointment.

**Project Fellow-(Non-Net Gate)**:The Project Fellow should be (minimum) Post Graduate in M.Sc.
Physics. M. Sc. Physics JRF will get Rs.14000/ per month for two
years and for the third and final year fellowship will be
Rs.16000/-Per month. Master degree with a minimum of 55%
marks for general category (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) in physics.
The age of JRF should be below 40 years at the time of
appointment.
