**Job Summary**:A patient attender is a vital member of the healthcare team who provides continuous care, support, and monitoring to patients requiring close attention due to their medical condition. They are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the patients while assisting with activities of daily living, promoting patient comfort, and reporting any changes in the patient's condition to the medical staff.

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required in some settings.

**Working Conditions**:Patient attendees typically work in hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings where patients require constant monitoring. They may work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
