**Job Title**: Cutting Machine Operator - CRGO Steel Industry

**Department**: Production / Operations
**Location**: Vadodara
**Reporting To**: Plant Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Cutting Machine Operator will be responsible for the precise cutting of CRGO steel sheets or coils as per specified dimensions and quality standards. This role requires experience in handling electrical steel, operating slitting or shearing machines, and understanding safety, quality, and productivity metrics in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate cutting/slitting/shearing machines to cut CRGO steel according to production specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production instructions.
- Ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances during the cutting process.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
- Perform regular quality checks and inspections of the cut materials.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues or defects.
- Follow safety guidelines, wear PPE, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Record production data, downtime, and machine issues in the system/logbook.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods related to cutting operations.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
- Minimum 0-1 years of experience operating cutting or slitting machines, preferably in the CRGO or electrical steel industry.
- Familiarity with CRGO steel properties and handling requirements.
- Ability to use measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
