**Job Description for Data Architect (preferably HR Domain)**

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
**- Data Architecture Design**: Develop and maintain data architecture blueprints that support HR business objectives and align with overall enterprise data strategies.
**- Data Governance**: Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
**- Database Management**: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR databases, optimizing performance and ensuring scalability.
**- Advanced Analytics**: Enable advanced analytics capabilities by designing data models and architectures that support machine learning, predictive analytics, and other data-driven insights.
**- Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
**- Technical Leadership**: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
**- Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, data flows, and integration processes.
**- Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all data architectures and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.

**Qualifications**:
**- Educational Background**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
**- Experience**: 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, and systems integration, preferably within the HR domain.
**- Technical Expertise**: Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
**- Tools and Technologies**: Experience with data architecture tools, big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and cloud services ( Azure).
**- Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
**- Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
**- Leadership**: Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.
**- Certifications**: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CDMP, or similar are a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:
**- HR Domain Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of HR processes and systems, including payroll, talent management, and employee data.
**- Data Security**: Expertise in data security best practices and technologies, ensuring the protection of sensitive HR data.
