**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Web Designer Intern to join our design team. As a Web Designer Intern, you will assist in designing, prototyping, and optimizing websites for a variety of clients and projects. You will work closely with senior designers, developers, and other team members to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with the latest design trends and best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design of visually appealing and responsive websites that align with client needs and brand guidelines.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Work with front-end developers to ensure that design specifications are implemented correctly.
- Assist in creating and editing images, graphics, and other media for use on websites.
- Conduct research on current design trends, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to review feedback and make design adjustments.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for website and user interface designs.
- Help with website maintenance, including updates and design improvements.
- Test and review websites to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness on various devices.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong visual design skills with an understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly designs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work (or personal projects) is highly recommended.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
- Experience with design collaboration tools such as Zeplin, InVision, or others.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how design affects search engine optimization.
- Familiarity with web design frameworks or CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify.
- Basic understanding of front-end development languages (HTML5, CSS3, JS).
