Warehouse Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:

- Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments of steel wood doors and steel windows.
- Accurately log and label products in the inventory system upon receipt.
- Ensure that all products are correctly stored in designated locations within the warehouse, maintaining proper organization.
- Monitor stock levels, notify management of low stock or any discrepancies, and assist with inventory counts.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of products for shipments, ensuring all items are correctly identified and packaged.

**Order Fulfillment**:

- Pick and pack products as per customer orders, ensuring that the correct items, sizes, and quantities are selected.
- Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and labels, and ensure proper shipping arrangements are made.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders to customers.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring products are safely handled and properly secured for transportation.

**Warehouse Maintenance and Safety**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring all work areas are free from clutter and debris.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Conduct regular checks on warehouse equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition, and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist in the inspection of steel wood doors and steel windows for damage, defects, or quality issues before shipping.

**Administrative Support**:

- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory and shipments using the warehouse management system.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and tracking the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Communicate any stock or shipping issues with the Warehouse Manager or relevant department for resolution.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with any administrative tasks, including filing, labeling, and data entry as needed.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure the efficient operation of daily activities.
- Provide support to other departments, such as sales or customer service, by fulfilling special requests or providing product information.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss operations, inventory issues, and improvements.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or training in warehouse operations is a plus).
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification may be required).
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse management processes.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items (up to [weight requirement] lbs/kgs) and standing for extended periods.

**Preferred**:

- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery.
- Knowledge of steel wood doors and steel windows products or similar materials is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

**Education**:High school diploma ,ITI, or equaliant

**Salary**: Starting ₹18000
