Job Description**:Supermarket Billing Supervisor**

**Position Summary**: The Supermarket Billing Supervisor will oversee all activities at the billing counters and ensure smooth operations related to billing, packing, and delivery. They will manage and coordinate the activities of billing and packing staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency. This role will require close coordination with customer care, store managers, and supervisors to maintain store flow and address any issues related to goods exiting the store.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Billing and Checkout Operations**:

- Supervise billing staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer purchases.
- Oversee billing systems, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure smooth operations at billing counters, particularly during peak hours.
- **Staff Supervision and Coordination**:

- Manage a team of billing staff, packing boys, and delivery personnel.
- Coordinate packing operations to ensure proper handling of customer purchases.
- Ensure that packing staff follows customers to their vehicles and provide assistance if needed.
- Train and guide staff in customer interaction and service excellence.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- **Delivery and Dispatch Management**:

- Oversee the dispatch and delivery of goods from the supermarket.
- Ensure that all items exiting the store, whether through sales or delivery, are accounted for and documented properly.
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- **Customer Service**:

- Collaborate closely with customer care teams to address customer concerns related to billing, packing, and delivery.
- Ensure that the store’s customer service policies are followed by all team members at billing and packing counters.
- **Store Operations**:

- Monitor and control the flow of goods through the supermarket's main entrance and exit.
- Ensure security protocols are followed regarding items entering or leaving the store.
- Work closely with store managers and other department supervisors to ensure smooth coordination between billing and other store operations.
- **Reporting and Problem Solving**:

- Report daily to the store management about billing counter activities, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered.
- Identify and resolve operational issues in coordination with other store departments.
- Ensure compliance with all supermarket policies and procedures, especially related to billing and inventory.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1-2years of supervisory experience, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills and customer service-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with billing software and point-of-sale systems.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
