**Location: Bengaluru**

IT for Change is looking to recruit a researcher with a track record and keen interest in labor market analysis and technological change, as well as a penchant for exploring and developing digital enterprise models that are community centric. Research Associate - Gender and Digital Economy

**Interested applicants must have**:
- A Masters' degree including but not limited to, development studies, public policy, economics, gender studies, political economy studies, and other allied degrees- 5 years of demonstrable research experience- Experience in working on social and economic justice issues in the digital/platform economy using intersectional approaches that integrate development theories, critical gender studies, feminism, and other lines of inquiry- Strong analytical writing and publication experience- Ability to respond to policy developments and produce research briefs in a quick-footed manner- Expertise in empirical data collection and analysis using statistical tools- Aptitude for practice-oriented, non-academic approach to knowledge

**Primary responsibilities include**:
- Carrying out research with field partners, and developing written outputs from research initiatives, including reports, academic articles, media pieces, and explainers- Managing partner relationships- Inputting into and supporting policy consultations and other national and global advocacy opportunities in the domain to influence norms development- Organizing events and supporting project related advocacy- Maintaining project related reporting and submissions to the donor
