**Job Description: Network Trainee**

**Job Location: Chennai (Work from Office)**

Network Trainees are responsible for monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Monitor and take corrective actions for the hosted environment.
- Give network status reports to the chief technology officer, supervisor, and/or senior network engineer
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Arranging scheduled upgrades and investigating faults in the network.
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
- Reporting network status to the team and troubleshooting customer-reported issues.
- Incident/ticket lifecycle management.
- Setting up infrastructure.

**Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline such as computer science, computer software/computer systems engineering, computer systems and networks, network security management, CCNA.
- Basic Knowledge of Computer System Architecture.
- A good grasp of communication protocols (Mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
- Attention to detail and strong ability to detect network issues quickly.
- Capacity to work independently or with little supervision.
- Ability to understand managements business and industry needs, and specialized requests
- Organizational aptitudes and the capacity to organize workload
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and can handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with mínimal supervision.
- Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with others constructively.
- Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
