Ot Technician

1. **Pre-Operative Responsibilities**
- **Preparing the Operating Room**:

- Sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Arranging surgical tools and supplies.
- Ensuring all equipment (like suction machines, anesthesia tools, etc.) is functional.
- **Assisting in Patient Preparation**:

- Helping in shifting and positioning patients on the operating table.
- Ensuring patient comfort and correct posture before surgery.
- **Setting Up Sterile Field**:

- Maintaining strict aseptic/sterile techniques.
- Laying out instruments in the order of use.

2. **Intra-Operative Responsibilities**
- **Assisting the Surgical Team**:

- Handing instruments to surgeons and nurses during surgery.
- Managing and organizing surgical tools.
- Operating OT equipment like lights, suction, cautery machines, etc.
- **Monitoring Equipment**:

- Keeping track of oxygen levels, suction pressure, and other critical equipment.
- **Maintaining Sterility**:

- Ensuring that the sterile field is not compromised.
- Replacing contaminated instruments or gloves immediately.

3. **Post-Operative Responsibilities**
- **Cleaning and Disinfection**:

- Sterilizing and disinfecting the OT room and instruments after surgery.
- Preparing OT for the next procedure.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Documenting usage of surgical tools and consumables.
- Maintaining surgical records and stock logs.
- **Waste Management**:

- Proper disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital protocols.

4. **Additional Duties**
- **Inventory Management**:

- Checking stock of surgical supplies and instruments.
- Requesting replenishment of needed materials.
- **Coordination**:

- Liaising with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and nurses.
- Ensuring smooth communication and workflow during procedures.
- **Emergency Support**:

- Being available for emergency surgeries.
- Quickly setting up the OT under time constraints.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
