Job Title:
Education Counsellor - Study Abroad

Job Summary:
The Education Counsellor for Study Abroad will assist students in making informed decisions about their overseas education. This role involves providing comprehensive guidance on academic programs, admission processes, visa requirements, and cultural adaptation. The counsellor will work closely with students, parents, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful transition for students aiming to study abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Student Guidance and Counseling**:

- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and their families to understand their academic and career aspirations.
- Provide detailed information on various study abroad programs, including courses, universities, and countries.
- Assist students in identifying suitable programs that match their interests, academic background, and career goals.
- **Application Process Assistance**:

- **Visa and Pre-Departure Support**:

- Organize pre-departure orientations to help students understand cultural differences, academic expectations, and practical matters related to living abroad.
- Assist with travel arrangements and accommodation bookings if necessary.
- **Liaison with Educational Institutions**:

- Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and educational organizations abroad.
- Stay updated on the latest admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and changes in visa policies.
- Act as a point of contact between students and international institutions.
- **Marketing and Outreach**:

- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote study abroad opportunities.
- Develop and distribute informational materials, including brochures, newsletters, and online content.
- Utilize social media and other digital platforms to engage with potential students and promote programs.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in educational counseling or related roles, preferably with a focus on international education.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and CRM software.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness.

Personal Attributes:

- Empathetic and patient, with a genuine interest in helping students achieve their educational goals.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing student needs.
- Adaptable and able to handle a diverse range of queries and challenges.

Working Conditions:

- Office-based with potential travel for educational fairs and university visits.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

**Benefits**:

Supplemental pay types:
