Area Sales Manager

Functional Area: Sales, Retail, Account Management and Business Development Industry Type: Pharma, Medical, Hospitals

Location: - Bangalore

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for creating quarterly strategic business plans for the respective region/ zone in terms of the Sales and operations planning for the projections for the quarter
- Plan and execute trade activities in existing and new sales channels across the region - focussed at brand building and sales
- Responsible for the overall sales targets for the region, driving top-line & bottom line for the region/zone.
- Liaise with existing sales team and push portfolio brands in trade channels
- Build training programs (around company, brands, sales tactics) for new and existing

sales representatives
- Target planning for the city team and regular training through Market visits
- Monitor and report price competitiveness w.r.t. distributors and wholesalers. Aid the

Central team in the pricing decision
- Assess business performance by maintaining requisite trackers to analyze GMV, sales

achievement for events, promotions, and product launches
- Monitor and impact key buyer measures like Frequency of ordering, Average bill value,

Sales per buyer, etc.
- Improve buyer retention by capturing the overall buyer experience of the platform, the

revival of dormant buyers, etc.
- Provide feedback on the business-building opportunities/issues to the central team.
- Drive organic buying on the platform through deep buyer understanding
- Be the Single Point of Contact for Market/Customer feedback by understanding buyers'

insight, seasonality changes, brand and competition strategies
- Coordinate with supply chain to ensure high customer experience and satisfaction

What we are looking at:

- Must have experience in pharma b2b sales background (generic segment will be plus)
- Solid pharmaceutical product understanding
- Proven work experience in Karnataka, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu

preferred
- Language: Fluent in English, Kannada, Hindi (or Tamil, Telugu an added advantage)
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and team management skills

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
