Graphic Designer

Job Description: The job description of a Graphic Designer for visual management in a process plant typically involves creating visual graphics and designs, setting visual guidelines based on various national and international standards to support the efficient, safe and productive operations of the plant.

Roles:The role involves conducting understanding bill of material, discussion with survey or sales team, referring to referencedocuments or data received from customer, referring to earlier designs in library for faster delivery, developing pipe markingand equipment ID designs, adapting existing designs, and developing designs as per guidelines made for customer by Brigs.Understanding Visual management and BRIGS’ proprietary _HOUSE of BRIGS _tool and different Brigs material scheme isimportant. They need to ensure the billing target for the week and month and work closely with junior designers on timelysubmission of designs and discussing with client and getting approval.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Receipt of BOM/Dispatch Instruction/Request/ Order. Understanding of BOM (Bill of material) requirement. Planning design need. Design delivery expectation of customer. Design Delivery commitment.

2. Design

a. You should know and be updated on latest Corel, Adobe illustrator, photo shop platform.

b. Discuss and brain storm on visual needs captured by survey team for any process plants.

c. To be able to think, analyse, adapt the existing visual policies of companies and add value in all the graphics

d. Prime responsibilities and Visual Applications:
i. Equipment/Asset/Section/Valves Idsii. Pipe IDs

iii. ANSI Sign

iv. Q Signv. Q Post Sign

vi. LOTO SOPs, Procedures etc

vii. Print file making

e. Understanding the different material schemes of Brigs and plan designs.

f. To be able to understand the site safety needs, updated about compliances like GHS, OSHA, ANSI, IRC,IS and other national & global safety standards.

g. To be able to develop general images, vector images to achieve simple and easy communication.

h. Select has great knowledge of colors, images, text style, and layout.

i. Present the designs within the timeline to survey team for final submission to customers.

j. Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design.

k. Send BOM-3 for billing to the production team. Owns and follow up for smoother production and confirm if there are any challenges faced by production team during printing.

3. Proof Reading, Printing, Lamination, cutting & Dispatch.

a. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.

b. To be able to check overall quality during the production and post-production as per guidelines or check list given, Work with production team and vendors to achieve highest quality visuals and do IQC (internal quality checks)

c. Coordinate with dispatch team for timely dispatch to sites or customers.

d. Printing must be at 100% resolution settings of the eco-solvent/Latex printer currently being used.

e. Any change in printing technology-process must be understood thoroughly.

f. Largely, resolution at any cost must not be compromised.

g. Know various printing media and its technical data sheet for better coordination with survey team and effective solution delivery.

Qualification:

- Graduate and diploma in graphic designing from reputed institute.
- Minimum 2-5 Years in agency or graphic work

Pay: ₹11,343.17 - ₹39,807.96 per month
