Factory Medical Officer**Position Purpose**:

- To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all employees by providing medical support, managing occupational health services, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations within the chemical industry setting.

**Strategic Responsibilities**:
- Support the development and implementation of health and wellness policies aligned with industry standards and legal regulations.- Assist in identifying potential occupational health hazards and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.- Maintain readiness for emergency medical response in alignment with organizational safety strategies.- Participate in the formulation of health-related SOPs and their continuous improvement.

**Operational Responsibilities**:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care during incidents or injuries on site.- Maintain health records and medical histories of all employees and ensure their confidentiality.- Conduct regular health checks and coordinate medical examinations as per company and statutory requirements.- Administer prescribed medications and support chronic condition management for workers.- Assist in the implementation of vaccination programs and hygiene awareness campaigns.- Inspect and maintain medical supplies and first aid kits across the site.- Collaborate with HSE teams to report and investigate workplace injuries or illnesses.

- Educate employees on health and hygiene practices to promote a healthy work environment.- Foster trust and confidence among workers by providing compassionate and professional medical care. Support wellness initiatives and employee assistance programs (EAPs).

**Education Qualification**:

- B.Sc. in Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

**Work Experience**:

- 3-6 years of experience
