- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Implementation & Maintaining of a food safety management system throughout the food chain & maintaining the system as per ISO 22000:2018.
- Implement and maintain GMP, GHP & HACCP.
- Specification defining & ensuring compliance with specification for RM/PM/FG.
- Vendors audit.
- Coordination with the purchasing department to ensure compliance with FSSAI and other Statutory requirements related to food.
- Approve or reject all raw materials, packaging material, labelling and finished product.
- Quality & Food Safety Assessment of stores by conducting detailed quantitative Food Safety Audits.
- No Food Safety hazards in Production.
- Review all production records for accuracy and completeness before approving for distribution.
- Perform all the required Lab tests to ensure identity, purity, potency and composition and to ensure that products are not contaminated or adulterated.
- Coordination with external lab for product analysis as per statutory requirements related to food and food safety standards.
- Quality staff is also involved in the investigation of consumer complaints, Evaluations of new vendors’ material, Internal audits to verify compliance with regulations, maintaining relationships with vendors and regulatory agencies, Quality control Activities and Documentation with regard to Corrective actions and closing any NC’s raised, Compliance with Food Safety norms at Production as per defined ISO System.
- Training of the staff on food safety, hygiene and health and safety.
- Following up on Maintenance issues so to avoid any delay or deviation during production.
- Training the production team for newly developed and commercialized products.
- Cooperate to purchase if existing raw material new supplier development need arise and conduct line trial with RM.
- Shelf-life extension test for raw material as and when needed.
- Market product evaluation with the reference product from plant and record.
- Theoretical Nutritional value calculation with reference to the National Institute for Nutrition.
- Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
- Helping to develop a new product.
- Production activity to be handled in the absence of Production In-charge.

**Education Qualification**
- Bachelor of food science and technology (BTECH)
- FSSC 22000:2018 Lead Auditor certification course
- Course on Sensory Evaluation

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
