**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Drive delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of products.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any changes in schedules.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of packages as required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
