**Qualifications Required**: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
**Experience**:Minimum 3 years** (Neurosciences experience preferred)
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Care & Monitoring**:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Monitor and document vital signs, neurological status, and overall patient progress.
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
**Medication & Treatment Administration**:
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and neurological treatments as per physician’s instructions.
- Ensure accurate documentation of medication administration and patient responses.
**Coordination & Collaboration**:
- Work closely with neurologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in procedures such as lumbar punctures, EEG monitoring, and emergency neurological interventions.
**Patient & Family Education**:
- Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care, rehabilitation, and medication adherence.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients dealing with neurological disorders.
**Infection Control & Safety**:
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- Ensure proper handling of biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines.
**Record-Keeping & Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records in the hospital’s EMR system.
- Report changes in patient conditions promptly to the medical team.
**Requirements**:
✔ **Minimum 3 years of experience** in a hospital or healthcare setting.
✔ GNM / B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized institution.
✔ Valid nursing registration/certification as per state regulations.
✔ Strong observational and communication skills.
✔ Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure situations professionally.
✔ Prior experience in Neurology or Neurosciences will be an advantage.
