**About the Role**

Are you passionate about turning complex scientific ideas into visually engaging stories? We are looking for a talented **Illustrator - Scientific Events & Outreach** to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a creative thinker who enjoys working at the intersection of science, education, and design.

You will collaborate with scientific, marketing, and operations teams to produce high-quality visuals that support our conferences, workshops, digital platforms, and outreach initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Scientific & Social Media Illustration**
- Design infographics and visual assets to communicate scientific topics clearly and creatively
- Transform technical content into lay-friendly, aesthetically engaging illustrations for public and professional audiences

**Event Design - Print Collateral**
- Design event assets such as:

- Standees, banners, and signage
- Conference booklets, lanyards, trophies, certificates, etc.
- Coordinate with printers and vendors to ensure high-quality physical output

**Event Design - Digital Assets**
- Develop digital visuals including:

- Speaker slide templates and decks
- Livestream overlays, award show backdrops
- Brand-consistent PowerPoint and PDF presentations

**Corporate & Outreach Visuals**
- Create visual assets for:

- Sponsor decks, pitch presentations, event invites
- Post-event reports and internal documentation
- Support the design needs of multiple teams including content, partnerships, and outreach

**Tools & Skills Required**
- Proficiency in:
✔ **CorelDRAW**
✔ **Adobe Illustrator**
✔ **Photoshop**
✔ **Canva**
- Strong grasp of:

- Layout design, color theory, and typography
- Visual hierarchy and user-centric design principles
- Familiarity with creating content for social media, scientific communities, and corporate stakeholders

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Background or demonstrated understanding of **Life Sciences/Pharma/Biotech**:

- Prior experience designing for **scientific conferences, healthcare events, or science communication platforms**

**Bonus Skills (Good to Have)**

- Experience with digital streaming or hybrid event design workflows
