Printing Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Workflow Management**
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all print jobs to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Manage workflow across **prepress, press, post-press, and finishing**.
- Monitor and optimize machine utilization for maximum productivity.
- Implement best practices to minimize waste and reduce turnaround time.

**2. Quality Control & Process Improvement**
- Ensure all print jobs meet high-quality standards and client specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections for color accuracy, registration, and finishing quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures.
- Improve and document SOPs for consistent quality and efficiency.

**3. Team Supervision & Leadership**
- Lead and manage a team of machine operators, pressmen, and finishing staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training.
- Foster a team culture focused on **efficiency, accuracy, and accountability**.

**4. Equipment & Maintenance Management**
- Oversee **printing presses, UV coaters, foiling machines, bindery equipment, and cutting machines**.
- Schedule routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with technicians and suppliers for repairs and upgrades.

**5. Inventory & Material Control**
- Monitor stock levels of **paper, inks, plates, coatings, and other consumables**.
- Work with the procurement team to ensure timely supply without overstocking.
- Reduce material wastage through optimized usage and storage management.

**6. Compliance & Safety**
- Ensure all safety protocols and workplace regulations are followed.
- Train staff on proper machine handling and **chemical/ink safety procedures**.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the shop floor.

**7. Client & Job Coordination**
- Collaborate with the **sales & customer service teams** to meet client expectations.
- Manage job specifications, timelines, and any special customer requests.
- Communicate production updates and resolve any client concerns proactively.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **3+ years** experience in **printing production management** (offset/digital).
- Strong knowledge of **printing machines, UV & foiling processes, and finishing equipment**.
- Experience in **workflow optimization, quality control, and production scheduling**.
- Leadership skills to manage and train a production team.
- Ability to handle **multiple jobs under tight deadlines**.
- Familiarity with **print management software** (EFI, Print MIS, ERP systems) is a plus.
- Good communication skills to coordinate between teams and clients.

**Preferred Skills**:
Knowledge of **MGI Jetvarnish, DUPLO, Komori, Heidelberg, or HP Indigo** machines.
Experience in **luxury packaging, labels, brochures, and marketing collaterals**.
Understanding of **cost control, material efficiency, and lean production**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹19,275.52 - ₹30,000.00 per month
