**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, cook, and present authentic Chinese dishes, including stir-fry, dim sum, noodles, soups, and rice-based items.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in running a specific section of the kitchen smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Maintain mise en place and stock levels throughout the shift to ensure a smooth service.
- Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor and minimize food wastage through proper stock rotation and portion control.
- Support training and mentoring of Commis and junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and test new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Report any maintenance, hygiene, or staffing issues to senior chefs immediately.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience of 2+ years in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Expertise in Chinese cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, deep frying, and wok handling.
- Knowledge of traditional Chinese ingredients, sauces, and flavor profiles.
- Culinary certification or diploma preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations.

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically demanding - requires standing for long periods and handling hot kitchen equipment.
- May be required to assist in other sections of the kitchen when needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
