**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

This role requires managing the technical requirements of enterprises and cloud infrastructure providers. You will leverage cutting-edge cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtualization, and containerization, to deliver high-performance, production-grade solutions for managing cloud and edge infrastructure. Optimized for scalability and performance, the solutions you will support address the complex challenges of deploying and managing distributed, cloud-native infrastructure.

You must have experience in software engineering with a strong focus on cloud technologies. You must be capable of understanding the customer’s problems and proposing solutions using our product offerings and services. You should also have a strong grasp of commercial software project development cycles and project management. Some amount of travel will be required.

**Interface & Collaboration**

You will report to the Manager of Solutions Engineering and will be an integral part of the cloud solutions engineering and architecture team. You will work with specialized Account Managers (AM)/Directors and strive to become the trusted technical advisor to our enterprise and cloud provider clients by understanding their business needs and addressing those needs through our products, services, and solutions. You will collaborate with sales account teams, engineering, product management, and other members of the solutions engineering team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all technical needs of assigned customer accounts and partners.
- Serve as a single technical point of contact and become the customer’s trusted advisor and the company’s solutions expert.
- Understand customer use cases, Architect, Develop, and deliver Proofs of Concept (PoCs), demos, and presentations.
- Collaborate with customers to develop and customize parts of the POC or demo and accelerate sales.
- Exhibit leadership skills during customer requirements analysis and create tailored technical solutions while identifying potential business opportunities.
- Stay informed and contribute to relevant open-source projects and standards. Active participation in open-source communities based on business needs is expected.
- Remove technical barriers to customer adoption of solutions.
- Increase market share with each customer by demonstrating tangible value.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success**
- Be hands-on in developing and delivering customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Experience with open-source projects such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, or similar is highly valued, with the ability to contribute as a representative of the company.
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences and present confidently in front of customers.
- Capable of working independently in customer locations or labs when required.

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtualization, and containers.
- Proficiency in networking concepts such as network stacks, switching, and routing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Perl, and C++/C.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English for business discussions.
- Availability to travel up to 25% on short notice
