The Platform

CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product. One component is a “sensor”, which is a lightweight agent installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behaviour, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, can correlate malicious behaviour across multiple machines, and presents our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

About the Product

The Secure configuration assessment(SCA) is going to be new product for ITSecOps product group and is essential for identifying risks arising out of weak and misconfigured systems and devices. Security configuration assessment doesn’t just serve organizations’ digital security requirements. Compliance auditors can also use security configuration assessment to monitor an organization’s compliance with mandated policies, benchmarks.

**Job Description**:
This is a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) position in the engineering team. This role focusses on development of automation framework and scripts, tools, harnesses, and specialized tests for the sensor and end-to-end testing of the product. SDETs may also participate actively in design and code reviews, and collaborate with the cloud and UI teams to assure end-to-end system functionality. They may also work with customers and product management to understand use cases and end to end scenarios.

**Responsibilities**:
- Designing, developing and supporting effective and reusable test automation framework, scripts, tools and test setup for the entire team to use for developing tests effectively; the goal is to minimize manual testing and enable the team to write automated tests to test the product- Identify and write specialized tests for specific Applications and platforms such as Windows, Linux and MacOS to ensure there are no False-Positive, False-Negative on the analysis.- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to control risk, improve quality, and streamline release cycles in a continuous integration model- Work with customers and product management to understand end to end product use cases.- Proven experience in test automation, extensible test framework design and development, test planning, test case designing and test execution- Hands on experience on writing quality code in any scripting or programing language. Having knowledge on Python/GoLang is a plus.- Exposure to Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, SQL, Redis, Git, Docker, Kubernetes etc- Should have exposure to any of the Web supported tools/framework such as Selenium, Django, or web2py- Hands on experience to any of the CI/CD tools and process such as Jenkins- Database integration via automation framework is good to have. Experience on any RDBMS is a plus- Ability to Colloborate with the peers, development team and program managers in a distributed environment effectively- Knowledge of Ansible, Jira, TestRail, is good to have.- Having a sound knowledge on Networking concepts is a plus#LI-DP1
