**Job Overview**

In this pivotal capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing the secure, efficient, and profitable operations of the chemical tanker fleet vessels assigned to you. Taking charge, you will lead and actively engage with senior ship staff, fostering collaboration across diverse departments and divisions to ensure the optimal functioning of the fleet. Upholding and championing the values, brand, procedures, and practices aligned with our esteemed Clients remains of utmost importance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Guarantee the secure, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operation of vessels, adhering to Class and Statutory requirements, while also aligning with the Client’s Safety Management System.
- Set goals and expectations, proactively implementing performance outcomes, Client’s values, and procedures to ensure sea staff compliance.
- Provide coaching and contribute actively to the development of junior staff, Masters, Chief Engineers, and officers displaying potential while on board.
- Serve as the point of contact for vessel operations, acting as the liaison between clients/owners and the vessel. Uphold the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction, safeguarding the brand and employees from potential risks.
- Address observations from commercial-related inspections (SIRE, OCIMF, Q88, Rightships, Terminal).
- Offer day-to-day technical and operational support and guidance to the designated vessels.
- Monitor vessel compliance with MESQAC requirements.
- Conduct regular visits to vessels, including sailing visits, to verify their condition and ensure adherence to company standards.

**Job Requirements**
- Hold a minimum of 2 years of sailing experience as a First-Class Master Mariner in Chemical/Oil Tankers, along with 2 years of experience as a Marine Superintendent. Alternatively, possess a postgraduate degree (MEng or MSc) or an equivalent qualification in Naval Architecture/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 5 years of experience as a Marine Superintendent.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Be prepared and capable of frequent global travel without restrictions.
