**Fabric Merchandiser**:
**Location**: Andheri East, Mumbai

**Experience Required**: 2 to 3 years in Fabric/Textile Merchandising

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabric Merchandiser to manage the complete production cycle within the têxtile industry. The role involves sourcing and procuring fabrics, negotiating prices, ensuring quality standards, and overseeing production from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing & Procurement**:

- Identify and source fabrics from reliable suppliers and mills.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules.

**Production Management**:

- Oversee the entire fabric production process including weaving, dyeing, and finishing.
- Coordinate with mills and processing units to ensure timely and quality output.
- Monitor production timelines and resolve any operational bottlenecks.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct fabric inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with QA teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain documentation for quality checks and certifications.

**Costing & Price Negotiation**:

- Prepare and analyze cost sheets for fabric sourcing.
- Negotiate competitive pricing while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Track market trends to optimize cost and sourcing strategies.

**Market Awareness**:

- Stay informed about new fabric technologies, finishes, and market trends.
- Recommend innovative fabric solutions to meet business needs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fabric Technology, or related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in fabric or têxtile merchandising.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, weaving, dyeing, and finishing processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
