1.Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, procedures, and controls to track and analyse expenses within the organization.

2. Analyse manufacturing costs and variances, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization and process improvement.

3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.

4. Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to establish cost standards and ensure compliance with budgetary targets.

5. Conduct regular audits of cost accounting processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

6. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing input on cost assumptions and projections.

7. Provide support for decision-making processes by analysing financial data and presenting findings to management.

8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost accounting, recommending adjustments to policies and procedures as needed.
