Quality Assurance

We are looking for an experienced **Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance (QA)** to join our QA team at **Herbal Creations**, a leading manufacturer of herbal extracts and natural ingredients based in **Kaladhungi, Nainital (Uttarakhand)**.

If you come from a **Pharma, Nutraceutical, Food, or Herbal** background and have strong experience in **QMS, Validation, and Compliance**, this role is for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, review, and implement **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**:

- Maintain and improve **Quality Management Systems (QMS)** as per **FSSAI, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and WHO-GMP** standards
- Handle **Deviation, CAPA, Change Control**, and **Root Cause Analysis (RCA)**:

- Lead **Validation & Qualification** of processes, equipment, utilities, and facilities
- Ensure **regulatory compliance** (21 CFR, WHO-GMP, UMP, FSSAI)
- Conduct **internal and external audits**; ensure timely closure of findings
- Conduct **QA training programs** for cross-functional teams
- Oversee **shop floor compliance** with established procedures

**Qualification & Experience**:

- **Education**: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology), B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- **Experience**: 7-8 years in **Quality Assurance / QMS / Validation / Audit Compliance**:

- **Industry Preference**: Herbal, Pharma, Nutraceutical, or Food Manufacturing (Not Engineering / Mechanical QA)
