**Job Title**: US Mortgage Pre-Underwriter Credit Analyst
**Location**: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Credit Analysis**:

- Review borrower credit reports, financial documents, and other related materials to assess risk.
- Analyze borrowers' creditworthiness and recommend loan structure and terms.
- Ensure that all financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with lending guidelines.
- **Pre-Underwriting**:

- Conduct a thorough pre-underwriting review to verify eligibility for various US mortgage loan products (FHA, VA, Conventional Loans).
- Review borrower’s income, assets, debts, and credit history to ensure adherence to US mortgage lending standards.
- Ensure that all loan documentation meets US regulatory standards (HMDA, RESPA, TRID, etc.).
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the underwriting team to resolve any discrepancies or issues before submission to final underwriting.
- Liaise with loan officers and processors to obtain additional information and clarify borrower details.
- **Compliance & Risk Management**:

- Stay updated on US mortgage regulations and ensure all processes are in full compliance.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of credit analysis and pre-underwriting reviews.
- **Customer Service**:

- Communicate directly with clients and team members to clarify documents and request additional information as needed.
- Provide assistance to clients in understanding credit requirements and loan eligibility.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in mortgage underwriting or credit analysis are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in US mortgage credit analysis, pre-underwriting, or loan processing.
- Strong understanding of US mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulations (FHA, VA, Conventional, etc.).
- Experience in working in US shift hours and familiarity with US-based mortgage systems is preferred.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of US mortgage documentation and underwriting requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- **Additional Requirements**:

- Ability to work the US shift (night shift).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of US regulatory requirements (e.g., RESPA, HMDA, TRID) is essential.
