Clinical Nurse

**JD for Clinical Nurse**

(4-5 years B.Sc. Nursing or higher only; with BA/BE experience only)

Requirements to communicate effectively coordinate and plan and execute the Nursing and related activities.

Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English Gujarati, Hindi and others.

Capable of handling and managing work challenges effectively and in time.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Recording of Vitals [Blood Pressure, Temperature, Pulse Rate, Respiratory Rate, Orthostatic vitals.

2. Cannulation, sample collection, sample separation, sample segregation, Vacutainer labelling, ria vial labelling. Preparation and review of vacutainer and ria vial labels.

3. Study drug administration and perform relevant documentation.

4. Recording ECG and perform relevant documentation.

5. Registration of volunteers. Presentation of study ICF and obtaining of screening informed consent from volunteers.

6. Performing and coordinating screening activities. Sample collection from volunteers as a part of screening activity.

8.Adverse event and well-being monitoring.

9.Perform ambulance and ICU medication check and relevant documentation.

10. Providing basic Life support in case of emergencies. Assisting PI/CI/Physician to discharge medical aid.

12. Provide first aid to volunteers/ staff as and when instructed.

13. Monitoring and recording of temperature and humidity (where applicable) of all clinical areas.

14. Preparation of heparin solutions and buffer solutions required for blood sampling.

15. Preparation of decontamination solutions. Organizing clearance of biomedical waste and its documentation. Ensure color coding of waste generated at clinical department while conduct of study is segregated as per requirements/ guidelines of biomedical waste management.

17. Reviewing, performing [via 3rd party/ internal] preventive maintenance and calibrations and technical maintenance of all equipment in the clinical department [Thermo-hygrometers, thermometers, micropipettes, alcohol breath analyzers, deep freezers, refrigerated centrifuges, sphygmomanometers, ECG machines etc not limited to].

18. Reviewing and ensuring completeness of log books related to usage of all instruments in clinical areas.

21. Organizing of contractual staff to ensure SOP and protocol training prior to utilizing their services, and reviewing documentation done by the contractual staff on the same day prior to releasing the contractual staff.

22. Organize/ Transfer biological samples after segregation to BA/ sponsor upon completion of study.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
