**Job Title**: Production Supervisor - Cereals & Grain Milling Plant

**Department**: Production
**Reporting To**: Production Manager / Plant Head
**Location**: [Kurali Karjan]
**Type**: Full-Time

**Job Purpose**:
To supervise daily production operations of grain milling (cleaning, conditioning, grinding, sifting, blending, packing) ensuring efficient output, product quality, plant hygiene, and compliance with safety and food regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Daily Production Operations**
- Monitor and manage shift-wise milling operations and manpower.
- Supervise grain intake, cleaning, tempering, milling, and finished product packaging.
- Ensure achievement of daily production targets with mínimal waste and downtime.

**2. Quality Assurance**
- Coordinate with the QC team to ensure in-process quality checks.
- Ensure adherence to product specifications (e.g., granulation, moisture).
- Address deviations or non-conformities during production.

**3. Equipment Handling & Maintenance**
- Ensure proper operation of machinery like de-stoners, scourers, roller mills, sifters, etc.
- Report and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain machine logs and utility usage records.

**4. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain shift production reports, output logs, and consumption records.
- Update ERP or manual logbooks for raw material and finished goods movement.
- Record machine efficiency, rejection rates, and downtime analysis.

**5. Manpower Supervision**
- Allocate duties to operators, helpers, and cleaning staff.
- Ensure adherence to work discipline, safety gear usage, and hygiene practices.
- Conduct basic training and safety instructions.

**6. GMP, Safety & Regulatory Compliance**
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), personal hygiene, and 5S implementation.
- Comply with food safety standards (FSSAI, FSSC 22000).
- Conduct mock drills and participate in internal audits.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Knowledge of grain milling processes and flow diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with milling machinery and control panels.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
- Basic computer and ERP system proficiency.

**Educational Qualification**:

- Diploma / B.Sc. in Food Technology or related discipline.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years in production supervision in a cereals/grain milling or food manufacturing unit.

Pay: ₹69,811.00 - ₹73,693.00 per year
