The Accounts and Tax Executive will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring accurate preparation and filing of tax returns in compliance with local regulations. This role requires a keen attention to detail, up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing activities.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Support external audits and provide required documentation.

Tax Duties:

- Prepare and file statutory tax returns (GST, VAT, Income Tax, etc.) on a timely basis.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Handle tax assessments, audits, and respond to tax authorities as required.
- Keep current with tax changes and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
- Advise the finance team on tax planning opportunities.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹8,458.60 - ₹75,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
