**Location**: Pugalur Karur

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Support the Environment lead at the location on Environment governance.
- To head the Daily operations of Effluent Treatment Plant, Sewage treatment plant, Condensate polishing unit, Water treatment plant etc.
- To monitor the Environment compliance with respect to Consent to Operation conditions, Regulatory standards.
- Understand the operation, Maintenance & Trouble shooting of the Pollution control equipment’s at the plant.
- To monitor the environment parameters at the pollution control equipment’s at the plant & report it to the environment lead on daily basis.
- Get well versed with Environment Social Governance (ESG) requirements for the plant and ensure that the data is being collected as per the standard requirements.
- Involve in the trainings provided by the site team on Environment Health & safety aspects and on the trainings suggested by other departments.

Key interdependencies
- Contribute towards the Site Safety Targets set as per the X matrix & Balance score card requirements.
- Learn & understand the safety requirements and standards and contribute in identifying the hazards at the areas which are directly under the Environment control and close the same
- Lead the site CAPEX projects execution with respect to Environment.
- Understand the requirements of ISO 14001 Requirements and implement the same at the plant
- Support the environment lead in preparing the monthly report with respect to environment requirements with respect to Air, Water & Waste requirements.
